Young Verse born Gregory Hardin in Corsicana, TX in started his voyage into music at the age of 10yrs old. He didn’t become serious until the age of 14yrs old when he moved to FT. Worth, TX. It was then when he knew music was his gift in life. He started to perfect his craft in 2000. He learned how to produce his own music, and write his own material, using his only source of inspiration……his troublesome life. At the age of 8yrs old he was struck by an 18 wheeler, and nearly killed. shortly afterwards diagnosed with bi polar, and schitzaphrenia, developing frequent nightmares that he liked to call visions of hope. His underground debut “The Reign” was a valiant effort to break into the industry with songs such as, “P.I.M.P.”, and “The Last Of A Dying Breed part 1” His sophomore album “The Asylum” Brought a major buzz in the streets with captivating songs like, The Last Of Dying Breed part 2” Where he has a conversation with “God” and Satan about his own suicide. And “In The Club”. Although this was an industry standard album. He had a very tight budget and couldn’t afford to promote this album either. His third attempt, “Versatility” was a smash in Fort Worth. It opened up a door in his career, and in his heart which could never be closed. He’s performed at major venues in Dallas and Ft. Worth, and surrounding areas. He has also made a name for himself all over the state of Texas. He recently finished his fourth album ’Down In The Dust” A tribute to his childhood town, which took a year in a half to finish, but was unsatisfactory to his own standards. in 2008 he started working on a fifth album…. “The Symphony”, realizing his only way in the game is to come in strong with some mainstream material. He is very serious about this particular project, and is focused and determined this time around. While he’s pullin’ out all stocks on bangers like “Hush Ft. Lady Bopper”, “I Got Mine Ft. Ditty” and the UGK inspired “Trill”, Young Verse delivers a smooth seductive display of lyrics with songs like “Clothes Off” and the enticing “Shower”. He also displays his soul touching lyrical savvy on songs like “Starting All Over Again” and “I Gotta Get This Loot”.Overall Young Verse is one of the hottest if not the hottest artist to not be discovered. With his down south with a twist of west coast style. He’s a prolific artist. If giving the opportunity to enter the game he would be pretty much uncontested
